CANDLE CARE & USE

Candles can be a fire hazard if not handled properly. Always be mindful when burning your candle.

  • To avoid tunneling, allow your candle to burn until the full surface of the wax has melted to the edge of the jar (typically 2+ hours). This ensures that your candle burns evenly throughout its lifespan.
  • Trim the wick to ¼” prior to each use
  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time
  • Always burn your candle within eyesight and away from children, animals, and flammable objects
  • Burn your candle on a flat, heat safe surface
  • Stop burning your candle when ¼” of wax remains
  • Keep your candle free of dust & foreign materials, including trimmed wick pieces
  • Blow out your candle and allow time for the jar and wax to cool before touching or moving your candle
  • It is normal for natural soy wax to dry with an uneven surface after extinguishing. This does not affect the integrity or burn quality of your candle
  • Avoid extreme temperatures as this will affect the aesthetic of your candle. Changes in temperature may cause candle sweating, frosting or “wet spots” in your candles. These are natural occurrences as a result of the candle going through changes in temperature. These do not affect the integrity of your candle, burn quality, or smell. These are not considered defects or damages. These may occur during transit as your candle makes its journey through different states and climates.
